Because that's what Hermione does.

“A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform  packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven o’clock. Harry looked behind him and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with  the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it.
Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks.”

Happy September 1st, y’all!

The amount that I am sad over Newsies is still nothing compared to the amount of happiness Newsies has brought me. I feel like we’re all losing something today, but that’s just proof of how special this show is. I’m so honoured to even be a part of this. I love you all. Lets keep carrying the banner. Just hold on, kid.

newsies on broadway (march 29 2012 - august 24 2014)

i’m hoping that the good old days
are something i will dream about at night
don’t matter if it’s sooner or later
i know that it’s gonna be alright

i’ve decided that newsies is not gonna close

please inform the cast

Cause standing here tonight, looking at you, I’m scared that tomorrows gonna come and change everything. If there was just a way I could grab a hold of something and make time stop just so I could keep on looking at you.
- Jack Kelly, Newsies is closing in 2 days.  (via brooklyns-queer)

*hears a single word from a foreign language that i know* Wow. haha not to toot my own horn or anything but did you guys know that you are in the presence of a sophisticated linguist

in newsies, we don’t say “oyster”. we say “erster”, which roughly translates to “yer fancy clam with the poil in it”, and I think that’s beautiful.
